Ugly Mexican Meth Dealer Busted!; FRANCISCO HERNANDEZ-FIGUEROA with methamphetamine worth over $350,000.

A Sunday morning traffic stop by an Oregon State Police
(OSP) senior trooper on Interstate 5 in the Medford area led to the arrest of a Seattle, Washington man after approximately 17 pounds of methamphetamine was found concealed in the man’s car. The OSP Drug Enforcement Section is conducting the follow up investigation.
According to OSP Drug Enforcement Section Sergeant Jim Johnson, on March 20, 2011 at approximately 11:00 a.m. the trooper stopped a 2003 Acura coupe displaying a Washington license plate for a traffic violation northbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 29. The lone occupant was identified as FRANCISCO HERNANDEZ-FIGUEROA, age 27, from Seattle, Washington.
Subsequent investigation during the traffic stop led to the discovery of approximately 17 pounds concealed in the car’s interior rear passenger compartment. The estimated value of the seized methamphetamine is over $350,000.
HERNANDEZ-FIGUEROA was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Jackson County Jail for Unlawful Possession, Distribution and Manufacture of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.
