Two people were arrested Friday afternoon during an Oregon State Police (OSP)

Many members of this gang have moved into apartments on or near Casino Road in Everett, east of the Everett Goodwill Outlet. Being close to the Everett Outlet allows them to shop there all day. I would encourage anyone to report to I.C.E. that they suspect quite a number of illegal aliens are occupying that area. Unfortunately the immigration laws are blatantly disregarded by the governments of this country at the present time
trooper’s traffic stop south of Sutherlin when approximately 2 lbs of methamphetamine was found inside their vehicle. OSP Drug Enforcement Section detectives are conducting the follow up investigation.
On April 8, 2011 at about 5:45 p.m. an OSP Trooper stopped a 1998 Pontiac passenger car displaying Washington license plates for a traffic violation southbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 132. The two occupants were identified as driver PEDRO LARES, age 30, from Everett, Washington, and passenger NORBERTO TORRES VALDOVINOS, age 25, from Redwood City, California.
Subsequent investigation during the traffic stop led to the discovery of approximately two pounds of methamphetamine inside the vehicle.
Both men were arrested and lodged in the Douglas County Jail for Unlawful Possession and Delivery of Methamphetamine.
Roseburg Police Department assisted in the investigation.
