Rosario Munoz DeGarcia (DOB 05-13-65), Guadalupe Garcia (DOB 09-14-84), and Jorge Garcia Munoz (DOB 03-16-87) have been arrested for the murder of Faustino Garcia Garcia (DOB 10-12-49). On the morning of February 12, 2003 Faustino Garcia’s body was found in a small field located adjacent to the Hood River Middle School and a short distance from the Garcia family residence. He had been shot multiple times and shell casings were recovered from the scene where the body was located. Rosario Munoz Garcia was the wife of Faustino Garcia at the time of the murder. Jorge Garcia Munoz and Guadalupe Garcia are the children of Rosario and Faustino. The suspects had reported Faustino Garcia missing to the police on the same morning that his body was discovered after an investigation that spanned 8 years. Detective Anthony Frasier of the Hood River Police Department, assisted by other officers, arrested the three suspects. They are being held in the NORCOR regional jail on charges of Murder and Criminal Conspiracy. All three suspects are scheduled for appearance in Hood River Circuit Court at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. It is anticipated that they will be arraigned on indictments at that time.
